JAM’s Founders, Ann and her late husband, Peter, resolved to do whatever they could to help alleviate the suffering of people on the African continent, borne from what Peter witnessed while visiting a war-torn and famine-stricken Mozambique in the early 1980’s-the driving force behind establishing the organisation that Ann has served since its inception.
Together they received several prestigious awards including the 2018 African Ubuntu Award for Social Responsibility and were one of five finalists in the AidEx 2014 Humanitarian Hero of the Year Award.
Ann’s skill set and experience in administration and marketing have helped steer the organization and after Peter’s passing in August 2018, Ann stepped into the position of Chief Executive Officer of the JAM Group.
